Our Indians' Money - 70,00,000 Crores Rupees In Swiss Bank*
1) Yes, 70 lakhs crores rupees of India are lying in Switzerland banks. This
is the highest amount lying outside any country, from amongst 180 countries
of the world, as if India is the champion of...BLACK Money.
2) German Government has officially written to Indian Government that they
(German Government) are willing to inform the details of holders of 70 lakh
crore rupees in their Banks, if Indian Government officially asks them.
3) On 22-5-08, this news has already been published in The Times of India and
other Newspapers based on German Government's official letter to Indian
Government.
4) But the Indian Government has not sent any official enquiry to Germany for
details of money which has been sent outside India
between 1947 to 2008. The opposition party is also equally not interested in
doing so because most of the amount is owned by politicians and it is every
Indian's money.
5) This money belongs to our country. From these funds we can repay 13 times
of our country's foreign debt. The interest alone can take care of the
Centre's yearly budget. People need not pay any taxes and we can pay Rs. 1
lakh to each of 45 crore poor families. Who are in need for Basic Sanitation
/ Proper Shelter / Drinking Water / Health faclities......
6) Let us imagine, if Swiss Bank is holding Rs. 70 lakh crores, then how much
money is lying in other 69 Banks? How much they have deprived the Indian
people? *Just think, if the Account holder dies, the bank becomes the owner
of the funds in his account.*
7) Are these people totally ignorant about the philosophy of *Karma*? What
will this ill-gotten wealth do to them and their families when they own/use
such money, generated out of corruption and exploitation?
8) Indian people have read and have known about these facts. But the helpless
people have neither time nor inclination to do anything in the matter. This
is like "a new freedom struggle" and we will have to fight this.
9) This money is the result of our sweat and blood. The wealth generated and
earned after putting in lots of mental and physical efforts by Indian people
must be brought back to our country.
10) As a service to our motherland and you contribution to this struggle,

| BJP on Friday revived its pet Hindutva themes of rebuilding Ram temple at Ayodhya and abrogation of Article 370 giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir as it released its manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. | ||

The saffron party also promised to give 35 kg rice per month at Rs two per kg for BPL families, which is seen as a counter to Congress' offer of rice at Rs three per kg. BJP also promised to make available wheat at Rs 3.5 per kg. The BJP manifesto comes after 11 years as the party had released NDA manifestos along with its coalition partners in 1999 and 2004.
The BJP had then refrained from making any reference to the Ram Temple issue, saying it remained on the party's agenda but was not a part of the NDA's national agenda for governance.The party promised to enact strong POTA-like laws to tackle terrorism. BJP also sought to reach out to the armed forces promising them exemption from income tax and introduce 'One Rank, One Pension' scheme. They also promised a separate pay commission for the armed forces. In another populist promise, the party said it would raise the slab of tax exemption of salaried class to Rs three lakh per annum. For women, the limit would be Rs 3.5 lakh per annum. Reaching out to farmers, the BJP said it will waive off all current loans and provide fresh loans at four per cent interest rate. The BJP also vowed that it would not allow any damage to the Ram Sethu. The BJP manifesto pledged to remove all illegal immigrants residing in the country and complete the fencing of the India-Bangladesh border. It also promised to curb foreign funds for outfits promoting separatist ideologies and get back black money stashed in tax havens. Addressing a press conference here, senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi said that it would be the party's endeavour to conduct the Lok Sabha and state assembly elections simultaneously. Joshi, who was the head of the manifesto drafting committee, said that the party was in favour of smaller states and backed the separate state of Telengana. BJP manifesto also promised promotion of alternative sources of energy with a focus on wind and solar energy. | ||

| India and the US on Thursday agreed to step up cooperation in countering terrorism emanating from Pakistan and the border regions of Afghanistan after a meeting here between Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and President Barack Obama. | ||

Both leaders spoke strongly about the need for such action after the meeting - their first - on the sidelines of the Group of 20 (G20) summit in London. "We did discuss the issue of terrorism - we discussed it not simply in terms of terrorism emanating from Pakistan, although obviously we are very concerned about extremists and terrorists who have made camp in the border regions of Pakistan, as well as in Afghanistan," Obama said at a press conference.
"But we spoke about it more cooperatively, in terms of how we can coordinate effectively on issues of counter terrorism." "We also spoke about the fact that in a nuclear age, at a time when perhaps the greatest enemy of both India and Pakistan should be poverty, it may make sense to create a more effective dialogue between India and Pakistan," the American leader added. With developments in Pakistan and Afghanistan figuring prominently in the discussions, Manmohan Singh made it clear that Pakistan must show absolute sincerity in bringing the perpetrators of the Mumbai attack to book before the talks can be resumed between the two countries. "We discussed development in Afghanistan and Pakistan. We both agreed that our two countries must work together to counter the forces of terror," Manmohan Singh said at his press conference. "We have a global strategic partnership with the US. We both have agreed that there are enormous opportunities to strengthen this relationship and to make it more productive and durable." The prime minister described the meeting as "useful and productive" and said the two leaders focused on development of bilateral relations and how problems of the region can be resolved through interaction between India and the US. The two leaders also discussed other bilateral, regional and global issues such as energy security and climate change. Obama, in a detailed account of the discussions on climate change, offered US and European technological help to India in its efforts to tackle climate change. "We're going to have to combine the lower-hanging fruit of energy efficiency with rapid technological advances - to the extent that in some case we can [forge] international cooperation and pool our scientific and technical knowledge around things like developing coal sequestration," the US leader said. "That could be extremely helpful," he added. | ||

| India scored at a brisk pace to rattle up 375 for nine in their first innings on the opening day of the third and final cricket Test against New Zealand, mainly relying on some lusty hitting by the tailenders, here today. Put into bat, the Indians adopted an aggressive approach right through the innings to score at a run rate of 4.16 per over on a Basin Reserve pitch to leave the series decider interestingly poised at the end of day one. The visitors were struggling at 204 for six at one stage but staged a brilliant recovery through a crucial 79-run partnership between skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni (52) and Harbhajan Singh (60) for the seventh wicket. Sachin Tendulkar (62) and Virender Sehwag (48) were the other notable contributors for the tourists who are looking to record their first Test series win on New Zealand soil in 41 years. Ishant Sharma (15) and Munaf Patel (14) were the last Indian pair at the crease when stumps were drawn after playing out full 90 overs. The former Playmate who is an ardent supporter of PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) will design a range of leather-free shoes and casual clothes, including hooded tops, skirts and swimwear, in collaboration with designer Richie, reported Contactmusic.com. "I really don't like to wear clothes. I would rather go naked. But I love Richie's designs, so I agreed to be part of it," said the 41-year-old 'Baywatch' star. "Pam is an outdoorsy and summer kind of girl who I have been friends with forever. We share the same wild and crazy aesthetic. And she has long been my inspiration. She reminds me of Marilyn Monroe and Bridget Bardot," said Richie. | |
